The oil on Masonite panel depicts the main drag of a small town, presumably the railroad town of Swan, Iowa per the scribbled label verso. The work is signed lower right front.

Swan's boom was in the 1880s with the peak of local mining and railroad. Today the population is around 75.
Board measures 9.25 x 11.5 with a framed size of 13 x 15.25 inches.
Very good condition.
