85: A LATE 19C. ADAMS & WESTLAKE RAILROAD CAR CHANDELIER

The two-light, solid brass fixture has glass globes blown in one piece with long integral cylindrical chimneys. The frame is stamped ADAM & WESTLAKE COMPANY and mounted with an embossed tag for James L. Howard & CO Hartford CT with latest patent date of '87. This fixture has been electrified but how is not precisely known.
Measures 24 x 23 x 12.5 inches.
Good original condition, noting the presence of four screws that originally mounted some element no longer present, no shades, there are no other issues of damage or repair, original glass globes free from chip, crack or repair, altered and electrified.
