Lyman Byxbe was a very prolific artist specializing in Western views and the etching medium, including finely executed aquatint etchings as found here. This is a nice, dark impression.
Image measures 7 x 9 with a framed size of 15.5 x 17.5 inches.
Very good condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
