9818: KPM PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE AFTER HANS MAKART

The image known as Portrait of a Woman in Ceremonial Costume AFTER the painting by Hans Makart (Austrian 1840-1884) is displayed in an impressive brass filigree frame embellished in fired enamels and glass jewels. The painting is signed Hept lower right front and stamped with the K.P.M. scepter mark.
Portrait measures 6 x 4.5, the frame is 10.25 x 8.25 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
