The mixed media figure with traditional raven mask, and dramatic three-dimensional male hand, is scratch signed and dated along the base.

Barry Coffin was a Lawrence, Kansas native of Potawatomi and Creek descent. He attended the University of Kansas and later received his Associate of Fine Arts degree from the Institute of American Indian Art, a public tribal land-grant college in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His work is represented by numerous Santa Fe Galleries and held in the permanent collections of a number of museums.
Measures 17.5 x 11.25 x 7.25 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
