Each side of this artist's board displays a richly colored and expressive landscape in the quality associated with this St. Louis artist. The reverse is signed lower right corner.

While he studied and painted in New York and New England (notably Monhegan Island, Maine, and Old Lyme, Connecticut) and at prominent institutions, including the Art Students League in New York, and was associated with the vibrant art colony in Old Lyme, Connecticut, Lebrun Jenkins is most associated with St. Louis, Missouri where he lived and had a studio in the suburb of Webster Groves.

Known for American Impressionism, he was also a member of respected organizations like the Salmagundi Club.
Board measures 22 x 28 with a framed size of 26.75H x 32.75W inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of major scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
