Arthur Clifton Goodwin was a self-taught American Impressionist celebrated for his depictions of Boston and New York City at the turn of the 20th century. He began painting around the age of 30 and, despite lacking formal training, he developed a distinctive style characterized by spontaneous brushwork and an ability to sensitively depict light and atmosphere.
Here he depicts the scene in low light with a misty atmosphere.
Canvas measures 19 x 26.25 with a framed size of 26.25H x 33.25W x 2.75D inches.
Very good untouched condition. There are no issues of scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up as confirmed under UV light.
