The lithograph by Associated American Artists in an edition of 200 prints is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right, noting that this example bears the Wilson's signature accompanied by his Native American name.
Number 29 in Hunt's book, this lithograph was printed by the venerable George Miller, a master lithographer during the golden era of America printmaking. His accumen came along just in time for the revival of the process during the WPA era when his workshop helped establish lithography as a serious fine art medium in America circa 1920 - 1940. He was the driving force behind the imagery of all the major regionalists. Unframed.
Image measures 10.25 x 14.5, sheet is 12.5 x 17 inches.
Very good condition, the full untrimmed sheet with deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair.
Provenance: A private Kansas collection, purchased directly from the artist.
