The lithograph, published by The Cleveland Print Club as Print Club Publication No. 25, is signed by the artist in pencil lower right. Original paper label verso.
The lithography was performed by the venerable George Miller, master lithographer who, during the golden era of America printmaking, was the primary reason for the revival of lithography during the WPA era. His workshop was the driving force behind all the major regionalists of the 1930s and 1940s.
The Detroit Institute of Arts, the Metroploitan Museum of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art, among others, hold this print in their permanent collections.
Image measures 9 x 13.25 with a framed size of 20H x 23.75W inches.
This work is from a private local collection of high-quality examples in excellent condition.
