The lithograph published by Associated American Artists in an edition of 250 prints is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and listed as Fath catalog number 65. This fine and clean example has been archivally matted and framed in a sharp modern black molding.
Benton's comments in Fath read: 'Autumn in Missouri. To be seen on most hill farms. The problem with these subjects is not to find them but to find them in a pictorially workable setting.'
Image measures 9.5 x 12.75 with a framed size of 19.5H x 22.5W inches.
This work is from a private local collection of high-quality examples in excellent condition. Given our knowledge of this collector's standards, we've chosen not open the mount to document this print outside the frame.
