The lithograph published by Associated American Artists in an edition of 250 prints is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and listed as Fath catalog number 69.

Benton's comments in the Fath catalog raisonne read: ''From a drawing made in southern Louisiana in the early 40s. A painting of this subject is owned by John Paxton of Ft. Worth, Texas.''
Image measures 10 x 13.75, sheet is 12 x 15.75, and frame is 16.5 x 20 inches.
This print is clean, untrimmed, and free from damage but has been laid down to cardstock.
Provenance: Descended through a Lawrence, Kansas estate to the current owner.
