Marjorie Reed is known for her depictions of western motifs like this, as well as scenes picturing stagecoaches traversing dusty trails, cowboys alongside horses, and evocative landscapes of the American west.
Her work was exhibited at prominent venues like the Biltmore Salon and Ebell Salon in Los Angeles, as well as the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Desert Inn Gallery in Palm Springs, Palm Desert Art Gallery, and the Rosequist Gallery in Tucson.
