The original work on paper is signed and dated lower left, signed again verso and titled 'Wanda H. Gag.'

Adolf Dehn and Wanda Gág were both Minnesota-born artists who became close friends while studying at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. They both earned scholarships to the Art Students League of New York in 1917. Dehn is known for his painting, lithographs and satirical drawings, while Gág is celebrated for her children's book illustrations.
Sight size measures 10.75 x 8.5 with a framed size of 17 x 15.25 inches.
Apparently the condition is good, no damage, repair, punctures or tears. There is foxing on the figure's chest and light smudges as shown. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
