165: A GOOD NORTHERN PLAINS BEADED TOBACCO BAG CIRCA 1900

The fine example of native tanned leather with scalloped top trimmed in red beading, narrow beaded strips down each side, unusual red and white beaded drops tied near the top and unusual beaded tabs in the lower fringe, beaded panels each side, long hide fringe.
Measures 40 x 6.5 inches including fringe.
Minor bead loss top edge only 1/2 inch long, otherwise good with obvious soiling.
Provenance: The estate of a Wyoming collector.
