CBW's comments in the catalog raisonné read: ''This print of the Oklahoma land run - there were seven - portrays the 'Boomers' in the foreground urging the settlers of '89 and later to 'go forth and possess the promised land.' It has been very popular, I think, because of the current interest in old steam locomotives.''
Image measures 10.75 x 14.5, sheet is 13 x 19.75 inches.
Very good condition, very clean and fine, the full untrimmed sheet with deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair. Two paper mounting bits upper right and left corners.
