CBW's comments in the catalog raisonné read: 'Navajos trailed their horses through my camp early one morning at Gallup, New Mexico, perhaps accounting for my empathy with the sleeping figure in the foreground.'
Image measures 9.5 x 11.5, sheet is 13 x 16 inches.
Very, very good condition, the full untrimmed sheet with deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair. Printer's ink in the margins.
