Charles Levier was born in Corsica to a French father and American mother. He studied in Paris and served in North Africa during WWII before becoming a liaison officer with the U.S. OSS. His works have been collected by the Paris Museum of Modern Art and museums in Atlanta, Seattle, Evansville, New Orleans, and San Diego as well as by noted collectors like Peter Lawford, Frank Sinatra, Adlai Stevenson and Baron Edmond de Rothschild.
Canvas measures 24 x 30 with a framed size of 31.25 x 37.25 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of major scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
