12: A 19TH C. CLASSICAL ASTRAL LAMP ATTRIBUTED CORNELIUS

An early 19th century American table lamp with brass font dressed in cut and polished faceted crystal prisms, the bulbous frosted, etched and faceted shade resting on a classical reeded brass column raised on two-step marble base with brass acanthus trim. A second similar shade of the period is included. Measures 32 x 12 inches. Second etched glass shade measures 11 x 12 inches.
Very good condition, noting that the piece has been electrified. Very fine condition, no chips, cracks or repairs to any portion including the crystal prisms.
