217: ROBERT MACDONALD GRAHAM (1919-2003) OIL ON BOARD

A classic Graham depiction of three young black men on a sidewalk below the shadows of a fire escape, each looking toward the light at an unknown happening. Signed lower left and dated 1966, board measures 10.75 x 11.5, frame size 12 x 12.5 inches. Robert MacDonald Graham was a student of Thomas Hart Benton during their time at KCAI around 1940.
Very good original condition. There are no condition issues of any type related to damage or restoration.
