A monk seated at a table enjoying a glass of beer, oil on canvas mounted on board, signed and dated 1891 lower left, the work itself measures 16.75 x 11, frame measures 21 x 15 inches.
The canvas has been mounted on a contemporary backing board, there is a very fine hairline scratch extending approximately 8 inches across the middle of the portrait. Good condition overall as noted. No evidence of inpainting or touch up visible under UV light.
