Square leopard upholstered slip seat with high crown inset into mahogany frame with applied gilt rosettes and berried laurel, raised on four winged lion form gilt-bronze busts, mahogany knees terminating in gilt paw feet. Measures 21 x 19.5 inches. This lot was originally offered without reserve in our July 8, 2016 auction. The buyer, a Manhattan auction house owner and television show furniture appraiser, never paid for his purchases. As a result, this property from the Joseph Candioto Trust is being offered again without reserve.
