43: A VERY FINELY TOOLED WESTERN SADDLE SIGNED SHIPLEY

The handsome saddle with deeply carved stylized oak leaves and flower head stampings has a nicely shaped pommel, horn tightly stitched in two-colors of leather, elaborately decorated skirts, jockeys and fenders, six conchos, intact sheepskin, handsome rich mahogany color overall. The Shipley mark is the written out cursive example.
Measures 15 inches from the gullet to the stitching on the cantle.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
