This depiction of a moment in time on a cold windy day with snow is titled Friends by the artist and signed lower right front. A label from Owens Gallery of Art is pasted verso.
Mabel Owens established the Owens Gallery in Oklahoma City in the 1960s. Through her efforts, the gallery became a significant venue for Western art and artists in the region.
Board measures 12 x 9 with a framed size of 20.25H x 17.25W inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
Provenance: Private collection, Oklahoma City.
