186: A LATE 19TH CENTURY NORTHERN PLAINS BEADED POSSIBLE BAG

The Native tanned bag, attributed Assiniboine, has a fully beaded front, flap and sides with glass beads, trade muslin back, metal cones, dyed horsehair tufts, original construction. Circa 1885-1890.
Measures 11.5 x 17.25 inches.
Very good condition, scattered minor bead loss, no damage or repair.
Provenance: The estate of a Wyoming collector.
