167: A 19TH CENTURY PUEBLO OR NAVAJO BANDED BLANKET

The serape format banded blanket woven from handspun wool displays construction methods and weaving techniques of both the Navajo and Pueblo weavers. It displays a nice indigo and a synthetic red suggesting a creation date of 1890 to 1895.
Measures 48 x 64 inches.
Very good condition noting fraying and thinning at the ends.
